Bonita Bay Group’s Environmental Council is an internal council of employees who share information and develop innovative techniques that will enhance existing environmental practices and programs while generating new ideas for responsible land use.
The council is made up of a team of 11 people including company executives as well as managers and employees. The council has appointed several subcommittees to address specific areas of expertise, including design and construction, golf, recycling, grounds maintenance and marina. Each subcommittee is charged with forming strategies designed to help the company meet our environmental goals.
The council also welcomes presenters from outside the company who can help employees learn more about sustainable development practices and protecting Southwest Florida’s delicate ecosystems.
"The Environmental Council enables our internal experts to share their wisdom and experience with others to ensure that we are taking the best approach to every project. It’s an informative way to learn best-management practices for responsible land stewardship."
